F1 Rc Nkok F1 Racer 1/6 Scale Rc Race Car

EXTREMELY RARE NKOK F1 RACER HUGE 1/6 SCALE RC RACECAR (PLEASE READ - NON RUNNING) Background: I purchased this item more than 20 years ago at a toy exposition in Chicago. It was purchased directly from the NKOK vendor at the exposition right off the display shelf on the last day of the expo as the vendor did not want to transport it back to their office. According to the vendor, this item was not for general sale yet as of the date of the expo - NKOK was soliciting interest for this product and if there was going to be interest, they would ramp up production. I don't know if this item was EVER mass produced.  It may be one of very few in the world. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ITEM IS NOT RUNNING. I tried to get it running with a new battery pack but was unable to get it to run. I tried to splice the connector from the original battery to the new battery but that did not work (see battery pack photo). I will include the new battery packs (2) as the original NKOK battery pack looks to be corroded. I will include both chargers (original charger and new battery pack charger which is just a USB charger - you will need a plug for the USB charger). I will NOT be including 4 AA batteries which is stated on the box. The value of this item is due to its extreme rarity. I think this car can be repaired by someone who knows RC and electronics - I do not. This item is a TOY GRADE RC item - it is NOT HOBBY GRADE. For being more than 20 years old, this car (not the container) is in amazing condition - It has never been used by me and I don't believe the vendor did anything with it other than show it to prospective buyers.  The container is in poor condition (cuts, tears, scrapes, discoloration, etc.). Yellowing of plastic window due to storage near a light (Non smoking home) Some impact creases in cardboard with some crushing of corners. Container has scratches, scrapes, cuts, bends, scuffs, etc. due to handling, shelf, and age wear. Screw on battery compartment on bottom of controller is missing. ITEM IS SOLD AS IS.  Please understand that this item is more than 20 years old and has some age, handling, and shelf wear. Not all imperfections may be listed, please review pictures carefully. Ruler is not included Transaction notes: We OVER PACK all our items to help prevent shipping and handling issues (See last photos - We will put bubble wrap into the original box to help prevent damage to the car and controller and we will put the original box into another outer box with filler around the original box.  We will pack the battery packs separately from the original box and will include them in separate bags which will be inside the outer box.  This item will be VERY well packed.
